Cooking time

So, by now you understand that I love spilling the tea about living with my cat.

In the previous posts, I told you how much she poops, farts, demands love, and has to be always around (= I love her SOOO much). Let’s introduce you to this weeks’ new characteristic of this adorable feline: She loves food!

No, not just her appealing cat can food, but human (5-star) food (obviously, who could deny her). A while ago, I was planning a really delicious dinner: Pasta, veggies, beef filet topped with tomato cream sauce. I placed the meat on the plate and garnished the top with the pasta and the sauce (so the meat was buried below EVERYTHING else). As I prepared two plates, I quickly went back to the kitchen whereas leaving the first prepared plate on the table.

Wait – I did not count Azi in on this. While I was absent for a minute, not paying attention to the dinner table, Azi sneaked on the chair, then on the table and took the buried meat (with her paw(!)) from the plate. The meat caught between her teeth, she jumped down the table and snacked it on the floor, covered in the meat juice. What a mess! 😂

And with this we all learn, do not not observe your cat when there is any accessible food laying around that you consider still to eat by yourself. Good night!

Mittlerweile habt ihr mitbekommen, dass ich es liebe, über meinen kleinen Fellfuß und die Geschehnisse zu Hause zu berichten (es gibt ja auch immer eine lustige Story zu erzählen). Azi stinkt, pupst, hilft beim Lernen und möchte immer um uns herum sein. Diese Woche geht es um eine weitere Vorliebe von Azi: Essen! Aber nicht ihr Katzenfutter, sondern unser Abendessen! 😉

Vor einer Weile habe ich ein richtig leckeres Abendessen geplant: Nudeln, Gemüse, feines Rindsfilet, garniert mit Tomatencreme-Soße. Das Fleisch lag zuerst auf dem Teller und ich habe die Nudeln und Soße oben drauf drapiert. Da ich aber zwei Teller vorbereiten wollte, bin ich nochmal zurück in die Küche und habe den ersten Teller auf dem Küchentisch stehen gelassen.

Bei dieser Aktion habe ich Frech-Azi nicht mit einbezogen (= fataler Fehler). In der Minute in der ich nicht auf den Tisch geachtet habe, springt Azi erst auf den Stuhl, dann auf den Tisch und klaut sich mit ihrer Pfote das Rinderfilet von der Unterseite des Tellers. Das Fleisch zwischen ihren Zähnen, springt sie vom Tisch und snacked sich das halb-blutige Stück Fleisch auf dem Wohnzimmerboden rein. Was für ein Chaos! 😂

Somit lernen wir heute: Wer das Essen selbst noch essen möchte, sollte seine Katze nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen. Guten Appetit und gute Nacht!
