Colmar – Alsace

Hello guys, long time no see. This week, I show you the impressions I gathered on my weekend trip to Colmar – Alsace.

It started, with planning a reunion weekend to see my girls from Master’s again. Usually, we meet up at the home of one of us once (or if we manage twice) a year, but this time we decided for something more sophisticated. The plan was to meet up somewhere in the middle of our living places and this happened to be in Alsace. I never visited Colmar before – although I know it is famous for the wine and its Christmas Market in December – but I happened to be in Stra√übourg before. Colmar has a lot of charme. I can understand why so many (international) people come and visit it. We were lucky deciding to go on a weekend where the weather was brilliant. The only disadvantage with this: every other person had the same idea! And so we were wandering the old town streets together with a lot of tourists, buying soaps, clothes, jewelry, wine, cookies, and in general a lot of food. ¬†From Flammkuchen over Schweinshaxe and Sushi, I tried everything. The second day we took the car to Riquewhir to see the wine fields, the landscape of Alsace and the historical old town. Fachwerkh√§uschen everywhere!

Skate

Ok, somehow I had the impression there was one week of silence (summer holidays?) on the Illustration Friday project, so for this week, I have a new contribution. The topic is skate! Since I am very bad in skatebord skating, I prefer inlineskating. But well, how to put it, I am not the most proficient individual in this activity either. But it looks cool. It looks very cool! Can you give me some tips how to improve my skating skills? Much appreciated! Enjoy your summer time! <3
